Paul shared benediction with the church at Corinth as he concluded his admonishing letter. Paul said,
“Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss (purely based on culture and nothing more!) All the saints greet you. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen” (2 Corinthians 13:11-14).
On Benediction and Mutual Love Among Brethren
The christ-centered church must enjoy the communion of the Holy Spirit; the body of Christ ought to also enjoy mutual love among the members.
Since Christ is the head of the church, people who partake in the fellowship should enjoy benefits that include, but are not limited to, peace, protection, and prosperity of the Lord.
God will not fail his children who remain committed to his true worship through their devoted services. Also, any believer who promotes unity among the brethren will truly be rewarded in this life, and in heaven also.
Those who serve in true love as promoted by the Holy Spirit will be called the “just” in the presence of God. Such individuals will earn great rewards from God in heaven. (John 2:24)
Prayer On Benediction and Mutual Love Among Brethren
May the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding be upon all the saints of God.
May the church prosper in all its deeds. May God help my fellow Christians to overcome their challenges.
May the Christian community live in peace and may we all have an abundance of the Holy Spirit to run successful ministries and enjoy all God’s benefits.
I have made all these declarations in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ – and all the churches and brethren throughout the world say “Amen!”
