Christians are warned to beware of surge of immoral activities that would perpetrate our society on the last days (Such as we now see).
Bible warned that some believers would be deceived and backslide from faith if care is not taken.
Bible warned Christians,
“…These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit” (Jude 1:16-19).
Present day Christians are living at a crucial time when our faith would be tested with fire, and we must ensure to stand firm in faith to avoid backsliding.
Satan will claim glory whenever a Christian stumbles from faith, so we must be careful!
Christians To Beware of Heresy: Filter Any Teaching Received
Christians are now exposed to some theories that are unbiblical. Our society is promoting practices that are contradictory to God’s principles slated in the bible.
Unfortunately, some believers are either forced or manipulated to adopt those sinful practices.
For examples, media outlets brainwash Christians (as well as others) to consider homosexuality as a normal practice – This is unbiblical!
Worse still, some people who professed to believe in Jesus Christ also declared adoption of an erroneous theory that proclaimed Jesus Christ was just a mere human being.
Those heresy lovers disputed the fact that Jesus Christ was God in human flesh when he was on earth.
It is unfortunate that some Christians/preachers broadcast eternal salvation with a claim that salvation cannot be lost through a sin!
Christians who are naive are rapidly falling for deceptions!
Heavenly minded people must be sensitive of erroneous teachings to avoid losing their souls to Satan in hell fire.
Christians must beware of heresy and ensure to engage in personal bible study to develop our spiritual stamina, and grow in God.
Believers must only uphold traditional principles of the bible.
Every serious Christian ought to daily read his or her bible to understand God’s mind and affirm the truth.
Also, we must pray for God’s guidance to understand the scriptures and remain rapturable.
More importantly, believers must be careful in making selection of associations.
We must select spiritual leaders or mentors that uphold God’s views that are slated in the bible.
A good Christian would not blindly follow any religion sect or a religion leader.
A good Christian won’t follow any church and/or denomination without evaluating its practices with bible standard.
Don’t entertain a bible teacher, preacher, pastor, prophet or any other that contradict fundamental teachings of the bible.
As a Christian, you must be heavenly conscious at all times.
Ensure to serve God in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
A serious Christian who does his or her due diligence to follow bible truth will escape God’s punishment of hell fire.
Such believer will meet God in heaven on the last day.
Pray to Receive Strength to Overcome!
O dear good Lord please save me from heresy that perpetrate our society.
I don’t want to miss heaven, so please help me to uphold your principles that are slated in the bible.
Save me from false teacher, preacher, prophet, and others who manipulate bible for their selfish gains.
Save me from Satanic agents whose purposes are to deceive people and send them to hell fire!
Please give me a contrite heart to maintain a good standard that befit your kingdom.
Help me to abstain from evil and promiscuous practices that our society promote.
Empower me through your Holy Spirit to live a life that is pleasing unto you at all times.
Please count me worthy for your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
