We Christians are not ordinary people, but we are spiritual people with special grace to do remarkable things – and we must be watchful of enemy’ plots to slide us!
The scripture proclaimed, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
Lesson on Christian as Spiritual People to be Watchful
Followers of Jesus Christ may not live a problem free lives, but we are powerful in God to triumph in all situations. No matter what challenge may come our way, we are going to overcome. Since the Holy Spirit of God resides in us, we have the strength and dynamism of overcoming devil at all time.
While we remain watchful through prayers, we must understand that we are strong through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The name of Jesus Christ is sufficient for us to live overcomers’ lives. When we mention the name of Jesus Christ, battle of any kind – whether physical or spiritual will fizzle out; demons will bow, and victory will be won.
In fact, followers of Jesus Christ will walk tall and raise their heads.
They will sing songs of victory from this earth to heaven. Hallelujah!
Prayer on Christian as Spiritual People
Praise God, I am a child of God, and I am not an ordinary person.
Since the Spirit of the Lord lives me, I exercise my authority of victory over all situations.
In the name of Jesus Christ I command every stronghold of the enemy in my life to become demolished.
I bind and cast out every demon associated with my problem.
I remove the root of sickness, poverty, shame, failure, and others from my life. I replace problems with God’s blessings.
I declare my victory today through Jesus Christ, and I proclaim my triumph forever.
For in the name of Jesus Christ I made my declarations. Amen!
