People of small faith trust God for what they can see. People of big faith trust God beyond what they can see.
How to Trust God Even When You Can’t See Him
Are You Struggling to Trust God Even When You Can’t Seem to See Him?
We have all had times when we have struggled to trust God. We can’t see him, and everything in us questions if he is still on our side.
Our strength lies in our weakness: Those times when we seem to doubt our trust in God are the most important times of our lives because that’s when we actually learn how to trust God.
Our faith grows in adversity!
How can I learn how to trust God when He seems to be far away?
When it comes to trusting God, it can be hard to know how to do it. Many people say they trust God, but when they don’t get their expected results, they become scared and doubt God’s goodness.
But in the Bible, we see that God has never changed and has never failed to keep his promises.
It is written: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” Hebrews 13:8.
Children of God should always remember that God is on their side when they are passing any hard time.
God has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us, and he has given us the scripture to help us understand how to live our lives during those difficult times.
Has God forgotten us during bad times?
God has been good in the good times, but do we really trust that he is there for us during the thick storm?
When our children are sick and suffering, when we’re unemployed and struggling to make ends meet when we’re facing a terminal illness ourselves? When we can’t see God at work, do we trust him?
Learning how to trust God is crucial and we must practice it.
God remains our fortress- present help in times of trouble. We’re so familiar with God’s loving acts that we need to be reminded often.
- Christians must keep in mind that we are to trust in the Lord and not in others.
- We must always remember that God is a good God and that he is always there for us.
- God has been our provider; he provides us with everything we need and won’t fail to keep helping us.
Trusting God in all situations is the means to have peace in troubled times
When you’re in a situation you can’t understand, it’s easy to become afraid and start to worry. You may ask God to provide, but you’re not sure if he will or if he’ll answer your prayers.
When you’re faced with difficult situations, like the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a financial crisis, it’s hard to know how to react.
If you’re like most people, you’ll try to deal with the situation with your own strength.
Whether that means ignoring the problem, hoping it goes away or trying to fix it yourself, you’ll find yourself frustrated and disappointed. If you’re not careful, you may even stop trusting God.
Find the good in the evil during the bad times.
When you are in the midst of a hard time, it can feel like you are all alone. People surround you, but it feels like they are so far away. It is easy to get caught up in the “why me?” mentality, but this is not the way a Christian should think.
When you are having a hard time, instead of asking, “why me?” you should ask, “why not me?”
Instead of asking why God is punishing you, you should be asking why he chose you to receive his blessings.
Instead of looking at your own condition, you should be looking at God’s provision.
There is a reason why you are going through this hard time, and it is not to punish you. God is still in control. He has a plan.
God has you in mind; he is still on his throne. He is still sovereign and still in control. He will work all things together for your good.
How to trust God in the ordinary
One of the most important things to remember when trusting God is that it’s not only when you’re in trouble or experiencing something horrible or unexpected that you need to trust God. It’s also in the ordinary, everyday moments of life that you need to trust in Him.
God is still there for you, despite how ordinary your life seems right now. He’s still working on everything that’s going on around you. And even though it might be hard to see, you can trust in Him.
The fears that come with trying to trust God
Trusting God is not easy. In fact, it’s one of the hardest things in life. If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, would you trust God? Of course, you would. You’d probably trust God every day because you’d have no other choice. But what about when you don’t have to face death? It’s much easier to trust God when you have no choice. That’s why you have to work on trusting God in the small things.
In the small things, you have the most room for error. Will God still love you if you don’t follow his word when you’re not in danger of dying?
Will God still love you if you don’t attend church every Sunday? Will he still love you if you don’t tithe every month? The answer is yes, but if you aren’t sure, you’re going to be scared to try to trust God.
If you’re scared of not getting the results you want, you’re going to be scared to trust God. But if you try to trust God, even when you don’t get the results you want, you’ll be a step closer to trusting God when it really matters.
How does God guide his followers to trust him?
Of course, we shouldn’t expect to see God or know exactly what he is doing in the world.
It’s not the way he operates. The Bible tells us that God is invisible. Colossians 1:15-16 (NIV) says,Â
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.”
We know God is working in the world. He is unseen, but he is still at work.
Conclusion on how to trust God:
It’s no secret that life can be hard. But you’re not alone in feeling this way – God knows you, He loves you, and He has a plan for you!Â
