God spoke through Prophet Jeremiah that he would destroy an arrogant nation that exalted itself above his interest. God said,
“And Moab shall be destroyed as a people, because he exalted himself against the Lord” (Jeremiah 48:42).
Lesson on God’s Judgement on Sinners
All people are made by God, and everyone is accountable to him. Both Christians and non-Christian are accountable to God! The Creator is impartial and will exercise righteous judgement on all people. He will bless whoever satisfies his desires, but punish unrepentant sinners.
All people are therefore encouraged to serve God faithfully and maintain a consistent relationship with him. It is important that everyone knows that God cannot be adequately satisfied God without a confession of Jesus Christ as Lord. Jesus Christ is the true Son of God, and without him no one will see God (John 14:6).
Pray to Live in Righteousness
Dear God, I humble myself before you so that I can be saved! I repent from my sins, and I confess your Son Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. I submit my desires to you from today. I will obey your commandments, and faithfully serve you throughout my life.
Please count me worthy for your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
