King Jehoshaphat prioritize serving God as his primary goal, therefore God established his kingdom, and helped him succeed.
The bible gave the account,
“Therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah gave presents to Jehoshaphat, and he had riches and honor in abundance” (2 Chronicles 17:5 NKJ).
Bible also stated about Jehoshaphat,
“And the fear of the Lord fell on all the kingdoms of the lands that were around Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.
Also some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents and silver as tribute; and the Arabians brought him flocks, seven thousand seven hundred rams and seven thousand seven hundred male goats.
So Jehoshaphat became increasingly powerful, and he built fortresses and storage cities in Judah” (2 Chronicles 17:10-12 NKJV).
Lesson on Diligence of Service – for God’s Reward
People who serve God with full devotion cannot regret, but they will prosper in all their ways.
Jehovah who faithfully reward people that offer honest services will ensure that his children are blessed.
God will watch over his own children, and he won’t allow anything to happen to them without his approval.
The heavenly Father will only allow a situation or circumstance that will benefit his children and glorify his name.
God’s angels will be on guard for his children to keep their going out and coming in safe.
Everyone should therefore consider it a profitable task to faithfully serve God, since the rewards to receive are immeasurable!
