Faith That Works Than Charms! (Part 1)

Faith That Works Than Charms! (Part 1)

Faith That Works Than Charms! (Part 1)

Some bible patriarchs made unpopular decisions through faith, and God stood by them to honor himself in their situations.

The Creator was ensured to honor them since they put their faith into practice to glorify his name.

We have read in the scriptures about how God turned difficult situations around for people who exercised faith.

We’ve read about Daniel in the lions den, Three Hebrew boys in furnace fire, Esther and Mordechai in Shushan Palace, David combating a giant, and much more.

david and goliath

If Christians serve the same God who reigned during bible time, will he be willing to help them today as he did for bible patriarchs? Absolutely yes!

The same God of Daniel, Shadrak, David, and Esther is still alive, and he is very much available and willing to help people who exercise their faith in him.

Faith is all it takes to tap into God’s resources! The bible patriarchs practiced stubborn faith and it worked for them, similar faith will also earn present days believers their expected testimony.

Belief

Faith in God is what makes Christianity meaningful. Without faith being part of an equation, Christian religion will not be exceptional from other religions. In fact, the absence of faith will equate Christianity to paganism.

Any believer who hopes to receive God’s full benefits must be ready to operate in defiant faith that the devil cannot overcome.

In order words, Christians must live by faith, walk by faith, and act in faith.

Surely, an affirmed faith exercise will turn things around for believers.

It will subdue mountains and level valleys until a believer can triumph to share a testimony.

question

Easier said than done, it may not be that easy to exercise faith during difficult situations except some important factors are put into place.

Those details that will help anyone sail unto victory during difficult situations are therefore scheduled to be unraveled in December edition of Trumpet Media newsletter.

Do You Serve An Unstoppable God?

Do You Serve An Unstoppable God?

You should know that God is an unstoppable deity that no one can stop under whatever circumstance.

Have you made your enemies realize they are just wasting their time trying to mess with you – since you are a child of “an unstoppable God?”

Devil is an enemy of righteousness that would intend to attack God’s children.

Christians must prove the awesomeness of their God by keeping the enemy to his debased status.

Each Christian ought to declare with the full affirmation: “No enemy can stop me because I serve an unstoppable God!”

Satan the enemy of righteousness has the common practice of harassing God’s children with the goal of forcing them into subjection and rob them of their blessings.

Christians must be vigilant to stomp their feet in defiance to the enemy’s attacks and prevail over him.

How more firm do I need to stress the need for Christians to understand their worth in God?

Believers are far from being ordinary people. We have the authority of Jesus Christ endowed on us to live above any limitation that the enemy may want to impose on us.

Indeed, we Christians must understand the strength of an invincible God invested in us. In as much the Creator is alive, there is no force, assault, or the onslaught of the enemy that can prevail over us.

Once believers understand their worth, Satan has no choice than to go and hide in the cocoon of his debased status. How far can your enemy run from God’s fierce arrow? ☺

The Major Facts That Satan Will Prevent Anyone From Knowing

weaponSatan understands the effective weapons that we children of God can use against him and prevail.

His goal is to prevent us from utilizing the weapons so that we can live under his subjection and prey on us.

The enemy will gain ground against believers in as much he can keep us distracted from using our effective weapons! Believers must understand their roles – as God’s children.

We must understand our rights and exercise them appropriately.

Faith Works

Any Christian who maintains his stand to declare his unbeatable faith in God will fight the devil to a standstill and prevail over him.

However, it is very unfortunate that many people are ignorant of the devil’s plots.

They have been wrongly indoctrinated to assume the enemy as an “All-powerful” being. Whereas he is not!

Satan is nobody special – other than a fallen angel who rebelled against God and was ousted from his prestigious position to await the eternal punishment of hellfire.

“How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:12-14, NIV).

Unfortunately, Satan – the disposed of fallen angel and his co-culprits have manipulated people to ignorantly presume him of having a supreme capability.

The enemy instigated fear into people’s minds, causing them to walk naively into his traps to suffer.

Those victims are out there trying to figure out the way out of their troubles.

How better precise can the Bible be when it declares,

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6, KJV).

Christian Be Vigilant – Your Enemy Is Full of Garbage!

Get the fact fast and get it right. Satan manipulates his prey to believe his deceptions that he is an “All-powerful” being.

Indeed, the enemy may be skillful, but not without flaws.bible application

Satan does not have all-encompassing strength. He has weaknesses that he keeps from his prey.

Ruminate on These Facts!

Whatever notion that could make anyone assume Satan as an “All-powerful creature” ought to be declared absurdity! How can a “created creature” be considered as an “All-powerful being?”

Guess what? The enemy tells lies and creates false impressions. He manipulates the naïve to perceive him as the most powerful being.

However in the real sense,
Satan is nobody special other than a bigot creature doomed to the eternal condemnation of hellfire!

Everyone must understand that a “created” creature (Satan) cannot be more powerful than his creator (God).

“Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand” (Isaiah 64:8, NIV)

The Word Will Liberate You

word liberateThe means of prevailing over Satan – the adversary of God’s children – is to have a clear understanding of God’s word.

Whoever wants to live a victorious life on earth must give him or herself into thorough studying of God’s word.

The need for having a deeper understanding of God’s word cannot be over-emphasized.

A Christian who expects to live a triumphant life on earth must know what the Bible has for him (or her)!

Don’t forget how we started this journey. The topic of discussion remains, “Do You Serve an Unstoppable God?”

Don’t ignore this question but give your affirmative YES for it.

No Christian should assume any devil, demon, or human can stop him from reaching God’s ultimate position designated for his life.

Again, a serious Christian should understand that he or she is serving God that no one can stop.

The Bible states,

“If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31, KJV)

Know who you are in God, and you will live triumphantly throughout the days of your life.

Give an affirmative response that your God – whom you serve – cannot be stopped by whatever circumstance.

The enemy may try to stop you, but he will ultimately fail since you serve an “All-powerful – the Almighty God.”

Saul vs David

Saul attempted David’s life many times. He schemed some persuasive methods to attack and kill the young man.

He even promoted David and set him up for failure, but the young man came on top of the scheme.

When all manipulations have failed, Saul launched direct attacks and mobilized his entire army to go after David.

Guess what? David still prevailed!

None of Saul’s attempts to get rid of David worked – because he served God that no one can stop.

(1 Samuel 18:10-11; 1 Samuel 18:17-21; 1 Samuel 19:9-11; 1 Samuel 20:31; 1 Samuel 23:8; 1 Samuel 31:1-6)

Sennacherib vs Hezekiah

King Sennacherib had a superior army and disdained King Hezekiah to his face.

He even cursed Hezekiah’s God and asked his captain to speak in the Hebrew Language to demean his people.

Sennacherib lashed out to Hezekiah’s people and said,

“Does not Hezekiah persuade you to give yourselves over to die by famine and by thirst, saying, “The Lord our God will deliver us from the hand of the king of Assyria”? Has not the same Hezekiah taken away His high places and His altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, “You shall worship before one altar and burn incense on it”?

Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of other lands? Were the gods of the nations of those lands in any way able to deliver their lands out of my hand?

Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed that could deliver his people from my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you from my hand?

Now, therefore, do not let Hezekiah deceive you or persuade you like this, and do not believe him; for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people from my hand or the hand of my fathers. How much less will your God deliver you from my hand?’” (2 Chronicles 32:11-15, NKJV).

God fought for Hezekiah (who reserved his trust in him). Hezekiah did not lift a finger, yet Sennacherib lost the war.

Not only that, but the arrogant king also slumbered to a mysterious death from the sword of his own children. (2 Chronicles 32:20-22).

Lessons to Learn from the Old Kings

  • Enemy Will Make Some Efforts
Satan will try to stop you from having peace and success, but he will ultimately fail.
Size does not matter when it turns to have faith in God. Jehovah will defend his people irrespective of size, weapon, or influence.Every attempt that Satan makes against you will fail, and you will have victory over him.
  • Don’t Be Scared, Enemy Can’t Win
Satan will try all means to stop you from reaching your goals.
His targets may include family, finance, career, and health. The enemy has no other job than to harass God’s children. However, the fact that the enemy will attempt to assault you should not make you scare since you have an unstoppable God that lives in you.

Bible Reader Plan-928

Do you serve Unstoppable God – the one that no one can restrict?

The enemy will try all means to stop you from reaching your goals. His targets may include family, finance, career, and health.

Something not funny about this subject matter is that Satan has gotten advanced in his tactics against believers.

His improved methods include using systematic attacks that are not easily detected.

Have you wondered why nothing you do ever come to the positive side of your boss?

Have you been depressed and dropped your vision because some people are unfair and have fabricated lies against you?

Have you considered yourself a victim of rumors from both friends and enemies – neighbors, family, classmates, coworkers, church members, government authority, and others?

Be Smart Above and Beyond: Satan has worse intentions

be smart“The thief (Devil) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus Christ) have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10, NKJV).

Get the grip of your irresistible faith in God, because Satan is all set to stop you by all means.

You shouldn’t give him a chance! The enemy may try you, but he will eventually stumble and fail if you remain immovable in your confession of faith.

Your stand of faith to declare, “The enemy cannot stop me” will pay off eventually.

You will rise higher and higher, while your adversary keeps stumbling.

The enemy’s influences will eventually diminish and shrink to significantly nothing. ☺

If you remain confident in God and declare your unswerving faith that you serve God that no one can stop, you will laugh in victory and have a superb testimony.

Jehovah God watches over his children, and he will take care of their business at all costs to glorify his name.

In this case, you are the child of God destined to prevail over your challenges.

I tell you my friend, whoever attempts your failure is wasting his or her time because you serve an unstoppable God!

M

ay God bless you!

James Taiwo

We Are Saved By Grace Through Jesus Christ

We Are Saved By Grace Through Jesus Christ

It is erroneous for any Christian to think that he was saved through his own work.

No one is saved by his efforts, but we are saved by grace through Jesus Christ.

The scripture emphasized, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9

Saved by Grace Lesson

Christians are fortunate to have someone who paid for the penalty of their sins. Since we have believe in Jesus Christ, Christ has gravitated us with God through his saving grace.

The Savior paid for our sins with his own life. He volunteered himself to suffer and die on our behalf as a sacrificial lamb.

porter

We are no more indebted to paying penalty of sin.

Christ has paid our debts; he has saved us; he has cleansed us, and he has transformed us! Christ has made us become new, and we are no more the same old person in sin. Old has gone, new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17)!

redemptionWe Christians are the redeemed people of God, and crown of glory is awaiting us in heaven.

Meanwhile, none of all benefits of Christianity is awarded to us through hard work or self-righteousness.

We are saved and blessed by God – through Jesus Christ. Glory be to his holy name!

Prayer on Salvation By Grace

Dear God, I praise you for saving me through your beloved Son Jesus Christ.

I understand that you have not saved me as a result of my personal works, but you have saved me by grace.

Therefore, my life will remain dedicated to praising your name!

I will praise you always for saving me by grace.

hands-1201826_640Please, I ask for more grace to remain faithful to you.

Do not let me abuse my salvation with sin, but help me to live a sanctified life that will remain fit for your kingdom.

Empower me through your Holy Spirit to keep focus and remain serving you until the end of my life, so that I can meet you in heaven.

For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.

Faith That Works Than Charms! (Part 2)

Faith That Works Than Charms! (Part 2)

Trumpet Media Editorial

Faith That Works Than Charms! (Part 2)

Faith in God works than charms, as earlier stated in November edition of Trumpet Media newsletter.

Some principles must apply before a person can successfully make his or her faith work to a good advantage.

A practicable approach to understanding how this can be achieved could be learned from the bible patriarchs that exercised their faith and make it work to their advantages.

faith works

Some bible iconic figures that prevailed with faith include Daniel, Shadrak, Meshak, Abednego, David, and others. Daniel was defiant to his king’s national call not to serve God; his action landed him in lions’ den, but he came back alive unarmed (Daniel 6:19-23).

Shadrak, Meshak, and Abednego stomped their feet against a king that ordered them to serve his idol; they were cast into the furnace of fire, but they came back alive and unarmed (Daniel 3:26-27).

Mordechai refused to worship a king’s most prominent chief; he was summoned to die, but he lived to see his enemies die instead (Esther 7:10).

A shepherd David challenged a giant for defiling God’s name; he engaged him in battle and prevailed against him (1 Samuel 17:50).

The bible patriarchs mentioned above had one virtue in common: Faith!

They exercised their faith to prevail over adversity with three major principles that are summarized in an acronym GLP.

  • G – Look Unto God
  • L – Look Into God’s Laws for Promises
  • P – Look “Not” at the Problems

look_unto_God

The bible patriarchs – Daniel, Shadrak, Meshak, Abednego, Mordechai, David, and others obtained their victory by observing GLP principles.

They looked up to God; they looked up to the promises of God, and they refused to look at their problems.

daniel

To clarify, Daniel kept his cool and maintained confidence in God when his jealous counterparts plotted to kill him.

He watched the people manipulating King Ahasuerus to issue a decree that would force him to compromise his devotion to God.

With full awareness of the consequences involved, Daniel chose to violate the king’s order to honor his God.

He willingly walked to the enemies’ trap and observed his customary three-time daily prayers. Why?

  1. Daniel had his mind focused on God – Dirty politics had no effect on him.
  2. Daniel understood that God’s laws must be observed to earn his benefits.
  3. Daniel considered lions’ brutal attacks as insignificant. He would rather suffer bodily pain than to sin and bring God pain.

shadrak

Shadrak, Meshach, and Abednego chose to disappoint King Nebuchadnezzar that trusted and appointed them as provincial governors.

The men refused to worship Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image; they responded to his threat,

If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king” (Daniel 3:17).

The trio rejected the king’s order with full awareness of the consequences involved basically for the sake of GLP principles!

Shadrak, Meshach, and Abednego

    1. Had their minds focused on God –Not on Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image.

    1. They considered God’s laws as supreme –Nebuchadnezzar’s laws must be subject to it! (You shall have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3)

  1. They care less of the promised punishment of furnace fire for their defiance –They were willing to die if God chose not to rescue them.

newsletter

Mordechai – being a mere exile slave – had no voice in Babylon.

His status demanded that he must honor whatever any higher authority presented to him, but he rebelled against the ungodly practice of human-worship.

He acted against the culture and remained unbent to worship the king’s most prominent chief – Haman.

Mordechai knew his action was suicidal, but he was determined to honor God and suffer any consequences that may follow. Why?

    1. Mordechai had his mind focused on God –Not on any popular opinion.

    1. Mordechai considered God’s law as prime –All people must serve him only.

  1. Mordechai considered the consequences of his action as secondary –God’s interest must remain primary.

Faith Banners Showing Belief Worship And Religion

The three GLP basic principles that bible patriarchs exercised to have their groundbreaking success remain available for today’s believers to explore and benefit.

For children of God to live triumphantly in every situation, they must learn how to focus on God; they must consider God as the supreme authority, and they must consider their circumstances as secondary while God’s interests remain primary.

By the way, what would God have done when those reputable people honored him during their difficult moments?

Should he have ignored them and let them suffer shame?

No, he wouldn’t! God will not abandon anyone who honors him under whatever condition, but he will make the individual’s face shine to bring him glory.

If I may ask, do you look at God or you look at your problems?

I encourage you to look at God.

A person whose mind remains focused on God will win his or her life battles to glorify God.

Remember: GLP will always earn you victory!

Trumpet Media will remain free for your benefits! Sign up today.

Till next month when you read from me again, I say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
