In this episode, we explore the profound importance of obeying God's commandments. The discussion centers around the blessings that come from obedience and the serious consequences of disobedience, drawing on biblical examples to illustrate these truths.

What You Will Learn

The significance of obedience to God in our lives.
The blessings that come from following God's commandments.
The harsh realities of judgment and punishment for disobedience.
Biblical examples, including the story of Moses, that highlight God's justice and mercy.

Main Discussion

Obedience to God is a fundamental principle that shapes the lives of believers. It is not merely a suggestion but a commandment that carries weighty implications. When we choose to obey God, we open ourselves up to His blessings. These blessings manifest in various forms, enriching our lives and guiding us toward His intended purpose.

However, the discussion does not shy away from the serious nature of disobedience. The biblical narrative provides stark warnings about the consequences of turning away from God's commands. One of the most striking examples is the story of Moses and the Israelites. Despite witnessing miraculous acts of God, the Israelites faced dire consequences when they strayed from His commandments. This serves as a reminder that God holds His people accountable for their actions.

Playing with God's commandments is likened to playing with fire; it is dangerous and can lead to severe repercussions. God desires obedience from His children, and this obedience is not optional. It is crucial to understand that disobedience can lead not only to personal suffering but also to collective judgment, as seen throughout scripture.

The discussion invites listeners to reflect on their own lives and consider how they respond to God's commandments. Are we living in obedience, or are we risking the consequences of disobedience? This episode encourages a deep examination of our hearts and actions in light of God's desires for us.

Final Reflection

As we wrap up this episode, it is essential to remember that God is a loving Father who desires the best for His children. His commandments are not restrictive but are designed to lead us into a life of abundance and joy. Embracing obedience is an act of faith that brings us closer to God and aligns us with His will. Let us strive to be obedient, recognizing that our choices carry weight in the spiritual realm. May we seek to understand and follow His commandments, trusting in the blessings that obedience brings while being mindful of the serious nature of disobedience.

What It Takes to Be Born Again (Podcast)

James Taiwo — Tue, 06 Jan 2026 14:37:00 +0000

In this episode, we explore what it truly means to be born again — the life-changing invitation Jesus gave in John 3. Through the conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus, we uncover why spiritual rebirth is the doorway to God’s kingdom and the beginning of a brand-new life filled with purpose, peace, and hope.

Many people ask what it takes to be born again, and the Bible gives a clear answer. Jesus explained that being born again means surrendering the old life, receiving forgiveness, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts from the inside out (John 3:3–6; Romans 10:9–10).

When we are born again, our priorities change. God guides, protects, and provides — placing His children on His spiritual priority list. Being born again doesn’t mean life becomes perfect, but it does mean God walks with us through every season.

If you’re ready to take the step of faith, we walk through a simple prayer together — inviting Jesus Christ into your heart. You can also pray along using this helpful guide:
