God considers tithe (ten percent of income) as his entitlement, and he requires that his children pay them to him. Tithes are to be separated for the use of God’s work in the church. People who observe the rule will be blessed. However, the subject of tithing has become controversial among Christians today. Some consider paying tithe as an obedience to God’s instruction while others criticize the practice. Meanwhile, the controversy is devil’s prank to rob Christian community off their blessings. Simple facts about tithing remain the same: (1) Tithe has to be paid to the local congregation where a Christian worships. (2) Tithes are to be used to support God’s work and provide welfare for God’s servants.
