The world’s definition of greatness is different from heaven’s definition of greatness. People in the world described greatness with preferences to material wealth and positions; however, God’s measurement of human’s wealth is based on quality of life they lived, and how they impact others. A person who has gained the whole world to his/her advantage may not meet God’s standard of greatness if he/she has denied the Lordship of Jesus Christ! The bible stated, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36). In addition God’s wealth recognition involves openness and contrite spirit. That is, anyone who expects to enter heaven must not resent others. He/she must love God, love people, and have forgiving spirit. The person must walk plainly and humbly before God, and live in honesty. In addition, a person who aims at seeing God on the last day must have teachable spirit and be ready to yield to godly corrections.
