We can clearly understand this lesson by studying the life of David in the bible.<\/p>\n<p>Terrible and overwhelming circumstances befell him, but he still managed to express his confidence in God.<\/p>\n<p>David was very sure that his God was strong enough to deliver him from all his tribulations.<\/p>\n<p>The man composed a psalm and said,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5733 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/hope-400x250-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"faith works\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" \/>\u201cTruly my soul silently\u00a0<\/em><em>waits<\/em><em>\u00a0for God; From Him\u00a0<\/em><em>comes<\/em><em>\u00a0my salvation. He only\u00a0<\/em><em>is<\/em><em>\u00a0my rock and my salvation;\u00a0<\/em><em>He is<\/em><em>\u00a0my defense; I shall not be greatly moved\u2026 My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation\u00a0is\u00a0from Him. He only\u00a0is\u00a0my rock and my salvation;\u00a0He is\u00a0my defense; I shall not be moved.
