{"id":17836,"date":"2017-05-06T08:32:57","date_gmt":"2017-05-06T08:32:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/?p=17836"},"modified":"2021-08-27T19:58:01","modified_gmt":"2021-08-27T23:58:01","slug":"christian-to-love-their-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jamestaiwo.com\/christian-to-love-their-family\/","title":{"rendered":"Christians To Love Their Family"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Family matters to God, therefore Christians are called to be responsible for our family.<\/p>\n<p>All believers must represent God in our various homes.<\/p>\n<p>Our love expression will benefit everyone &#8211; Including God!<\/p>\n<p>Bible challenged Christians to be responsible for our homes as stated,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, maybe won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.<\/p>\n<p>Do not let your adornment be merely outward\u2014arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel\u2014rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bible.com\/bible\/114\/1PE.3.nkjv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1 Peter 3:1-8<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Bible harshly rebukes any believer who is not responsible for his home. He is called <em>\u201dAn Infidel!<\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/biblehub.com\/kjv\/1_timothy\/5.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1 Timothy 5:8<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lilyhair.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17843 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/christian-family-300x235.jpg\" alt=\"UK Premium Quality Wigs and Hair Pieces For Women | LilyHair UK \u2013 Lilyhair-uk\" width=\"300\" height=\"235\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong> Show Love to Your Family As You Claim to Love God<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><em>Charity begins at home.<\/em> Therefore, anyone who claims to love God must first start to express it at home.<\/p>\n<p>Our family members share common blood. They are much closer to us in this world than anyone else; therefore, we must choose to love them dearly.<\/p>\n<p>No argument that every Christian is directly responsible for the welfare of his home!<\/p>\n<p>Our family members deserve our <em>first-class attention<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> Christians Must Not Be Sentimental with Love<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"bc_rb_click_track bc_random_banner\" data-id=\"69\" data-url=\"https:\/\/jamestaiwo.com\/wp-admin\/admin-ajax.php?action=bc_rb_ads_click&nonce=4cec8e1ba4\"><iframe width=\"815\" height=\"459\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZgT5xSqsd9Q\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/eAkKbX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Buy-Now-Button.png\" width=\"200\" height=\"90\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>There is no exception to the rule of true love.<\/p>\n<p>Christians are not to only specialize in loving our relatives, but we must also love other people as well.<\/p>\n<p>No substitute for genuine love. Therefore, each Christian must love God and also love our neighbors.<\/p>\n<p><em>Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.\u2019 The second is this: \u2018Love your neighbor as yourself.\u2019 There is no commandment greater than these.\u201d (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Mark+12&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mark 12:30-31<\/a><\/strong>)<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong> Believers Must Love Our Christian Community<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/blog\/christian-body-stay-strong-love\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">If fellow Christians do not love our Christian community who else would do?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Believers must dearly love one another.<\/p>\n<p>Christians must care for each other. We must be on the lookout and be protective of our brothers and sisters in Christ.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/biblehub.com\/proverbs\/27-17.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Iron sharpeneth iron<\/a>.<\/em> Believers must care and forgive each other. We must move on to celebrate the true love of Jesus Christ despite our minor differences.<\/p>\n<p><em>So watch yourselves. \u201cIf your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying \u2018I repent,\u2019 you must forgive them.\u201d<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Luke+17&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Luke 17:3-4<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Believers must pray and care for one another.<\/p>\n<p>Christians must have a common love to benefit ourselves and also promote God\u2019s kingdom.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/katebackdrop.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17845 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/home-love-300x206.jpg\" alt=\"\u5199\u771f\u306e\u80cc\u666f\u5e03\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Back to Home Love!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Christians must not forget that God requires us to promote genuine love in our homes.<\/p>\n<p>We must genuinely express sincere love towards our family members.<\/p>\n<p>A husband must love his wife; the wife must love her husband.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/blog\/learn-good-parenting-mary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Parents must love their children<\/a>, and children must love and respect their parents.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17846\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/fact-300x212.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"212\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Face The Fact of Home Love<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Any child of God who ignores the call to care for his (or her) family is simply not practicing true Christianity!<\/p>\n<p>How can a Christian claim he loves God and neglects his family at the same time?<\/p>\n<p>God despises people who are hypocritical with their love!<\/p>\n<p>Our God can only celebrate a person who is not hypocritical but practice the genuine love that glorifies his name.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17847\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/disclaimer-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><br \/>\n<strong> <em>Family Love Disclaimer<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fact remains that some families have a complicated relationship. Members of a family may have differences that are not easily solved.<\/p>\n<p>However, Christians must understand that we are still obligated to love our family members despite our differences.<\/p>\n<p>We must not allow any sort of differences to prevent us from effectively performing our godly roles in our family.<\/p>\n<p>Every\u00a0child of God must\u00a0make a significant effort to put the devil to shame in his (or her) family.<\/p>\n<p>We must demonstrate a true and thorough love of Jesus to glorify God.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-17843\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jamestaiwo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/christian-family-300x235.jpg\" alt=\"christian family\" width=\"300\" height=\"235\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Please Pray to Love Your Family As Well As Others<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dear God, please help me to express true love in my family.<\/p>\n<p>Help me to overcome whatever situation may challenge my desire to exercise genuine love that you required.<\/p>\n<p>Please help me to be your true ambassador in my home so that your name can be glorified.<\/p>\n<p>Help me to be a responsible and godly husband, wife, father, mother, child, or grandchild.<\/p>\n<p>Help me to be a godly niece, nephew, or cousin so that your gospel light can shine in my family.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, I am also asking that you please give me the strength to love my friends and neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>Let your light always shine around me to be your true ambassador on earth.<\/p>\n<p>Let my life bring glory to you now and always.<\/p>\n<p>For in the name of Jesus Christ I have prayed.
