People who love God must also be diligent in their earthly businesses. Children of God must be diligent in their works to receive God’s blessings. Of course, Christians must prioritize the desire to faithfully serve God and remain heavenly bound; however, Christians still have an obligation to be hardworking people on earth.

Children of God must diligently handle their earthly businesses and be prosperous to send a positive signal to the unbelievers that God loves and cares for his own.

Any Christian who is lazy in his or her business portrays a bad example for society. A lazy Christian will be poor on earth. Period!

Take it or leave it, Christians’ aspiration to faithfully serve God must be complemented with hard work to achieve earthly success. A serious Christian will not misinterpret Jesus’s word that states,

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33 KJV).

Any Christian who focuses on the first part of Jesus’s statement but ignores the added clause “All these things shall be added unto you” has signed up to live in abject poverty for the rest of his life on earth! (He may be rich in heaven, but he will be poor on earth.)

For a Christian to have “All these things” added to his (or her) life, he must be a diligent person!

Any believer who aspires to have earthly success must embrace hard work. He has to be someone that is not slothful in his business.

Bible Supports Diligence

No food for the lazy says the Bible!
Click to tweet

Bible, which is the word of God, promotes the principle of hard work and encourages God’s children to cultivate the habit. Bible emphasized that the Almighty God will be proud of his children who actively pursue godly success exploits.

Bible emphasized that Christians’ diligent services which ought to majorly centralize on appeasing God must also be inclusive of dedicated activities that targets achieving earthly prosperity.

King Solomon, in the Bible, promoted the principle of diligence and wrote,

“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!” (Proverbs 6:6 NIV).

Perhaps, King Solomon perceived his message on the subject of diligence was not resonating enough! The wise king further intensified his teaching with a clearer illustration. Solomon challenged anyone interested to learn the principle of hard work from the smallest creatures on earth. He stated,

“There are four things which are little on the earth, But they are exceedingly wise: The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer; The rock badgers are a feeble folk, Yet they make their homes in the crags; The locusts have no king, Yet they all advance in ranks; The spider skillfully grasps with its hands, And it is in kings’ palaces” (Proverbs 30:24-28 NKJV).

Diligent Christians in Trades, Businesses, and Other Professions Have Good Luck with God

Diligence is the key to obtaining God’s favor! Believers in Jesus Christ who take their work seriously will prosper on earth! Christians are not only asked to be good stewards of Jesus Christ in morality (and in heavenly consciousness), but believers must also allow their goodly stewardship to reflect in their earthly businesses.

Hard working Christians will attract the blessings of God. Jehovah will complement their efforts with an alarming success.

Get it loud and clear: God loves hard working people!
Click to tweet

Jehovah will bless his children who diligently engage their tasks. He will not award his groundbreaking benefits to people who are slothful in their businesses!

A serious Christian must not regard the call to be diligent in his work burdensome. Any child of God who realizes that he (or she) lacks motivation for success through hard work must pray to receive God’s help. God still respond to the outcry of his children. He will answer the prayers of his people and help them measure up to their success expectations.

God will answer the prayers of his children that aspire to improve their status through hard work.

"prayer"Prayer, Principle, and Practice will Amount to Success

Any Christian who thinks he or she cannot measure up to hard-work standard should pray to receive God’s help. Also, a success aspired person must have a self-made principle that will motivate him or her to measure up to the expectation.

It is important that an individual who desires hard work must engage in task implementation (practical exercise) to train his mind. Slowly but surely, the process will add up to become a success exploration.

Get the fact straight: No food for the lazy, says the Bible!

Each believer has an obligation to be a true steward of Jesus Christ through hard-work. Paul emphasized that whoever is found lazy must not eat! (2 Thessalonians 3:10)

Pray For God’s Help To Be a Diligent (Hardworking Person)

Don’t hesitate to pray for God’s help to be a diligent person!

You may pray as follows:

Dear God, I desire to be a hard working person; please help me! I believe in your word that states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Therefore, I ask that you give me the strength to be a focused and hardworking person who will prosper on earth! Please inspire and empower me by the Holy Spirit to be someone that you can be proud of his (or her) achievement through hard work! Please bless my works as I make efforts to be a successful person on earth. Bless me and turn my life to become an embodiment of testimony to your Holy Name! For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
