But in the Bible, we see that God has never changed and has never failed to keep his promises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is written: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever”\u00a0Hebrews 13:8<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Children of God should always remember that God is on their side when they are passing any hard time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n God has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us, and he has given us the scripture to help us understand how to live our lives during those difficult times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n God has been good in the good times, but do we really trust that he is there for us during the thick storm? <\/p>\n\n\n\n When our children are sick and suffering, when we’re unemployed and struggling to make ends meet when we’re facing a terminal illness ourselves? When we can’t see God at work, do we trust him?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Learning how to trust God is crucial and we must practice it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n God remains our fortress- present help in times of trouble. We’re so familiar with God’s loving acts that we need to be reminded often. <\/p>\n\n\n\n When you’re in a situation you can’t understand, it’s easy to become afraid and start to worry. You may ask God to provide, but you’re not sure if he will or if he’ll answer your prayers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n When you’re faced with difficult situations, like the loss of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a financial crisis, it’s hard to know how to react. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If you’re like most people, you’ll try to deal with the situation with your own strength. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Whether that means ignoring the problem, hoping it goes away or trying to fix it yourself, you’ll find yourself frustrated and disappointed. If you’re not careful, you may even stop trusting God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you are in the midst of a hard time, it can feel like you are all alone. People surround you, but it feels like they are so far away. It is easy to get caught up in the “why me?” mentality, but this is not the way a Christian should think. <\/p>\n\n\n\n When you are having a hard time, instead of asking, “why me?” you should ask, “why not me?” <\/p>\n\n\n\n Instead of asking why God is punishing you, you should be asking why he chose you to receive his blessings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Instead of looking at your own condition, you should be looking at God’s provision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n There is a reason why you are going through this hard time, and it is not to punish you. God is still in control. He has a plan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n God has you in mind; he is still on his throne. He is still sovereign and still in control. He will work all things together for your good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the most important things to remember when trusting God is that it’s not only when you’re in trouble or experiencing something horrible or unexpected that you need to trust God. It’s also in the ordinary, everyday moments of life that you need to trust in Him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n God is still there for you, despite how ordinary your life seems right now. He’s still working on everything that’s going on around you. The Bible tells us that God is invisible. Colossians 1:15-16 (NIV)<\/strong> says,\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n “The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.” <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n We know God is working in the world. He is unseen, but he is still at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s no secret that life can be hard.
