Paul took control of a terrible situation through the power of the Holy Spirit; he raised a dead man back to life.
An individual who attended Paul’s crusade fell from a 3rd floor window, and died instantly.
Although the situation was horrific, but Paul refused to allow it to distract his ongoing ministry activity. Paul ensured he that he finished his sermon without distraction.
Meanwhile, when the meeting ended, Paul – the man of God – demonstrated the power of God. The scripture reported,
“Paul went down, fell on him (the dead man), and embracing him said, “Do not trouble yourselves, for his life is in him.” Now when he had come up, had broken bread and eaten, and talked a long while, even till daybreak, he departed. And they brought the young man in alive, and they were not a little comforted” (Acts 20:10-12).
Lesson on The Power of The Holy Spirit in Believers
Christians are the anointed children of God; we have been commissioned by God to demonstrate his power through the Holy Spirit.
With God’s Spirit in us, we can do valiantly. Since we have been chosen, nothing shall be impossible for us to overcome.
No situation can put us under subjection, the Holy Spirit of God that lives in us will remain instant and exact. He will solve problems and provide solutions.
Everything will remain within the reach of a child of God! Dead will come back to life, and sick people will be healed.
All it takes to enjoy the demonstrative power of God is faith! Children of God must have unwavering faith.
Our trust in God must be absolute before God’s power can fully manifest in us and through us.
