Christians are children of God, and we are the partakers of God’s blessings proclaimed in the bible.
Any individual Christian (or a Christian group) can claim bible blessings without restriction.
The blessings of the bible apply to all Christians throughout the world
For example, the blessings in Paul’s prayer rendered for the Ephesians Christian several years ago still apply to us – Today’s Christians.
Paul’s prayers apply to today’s Christians to benefits.
Paul prayed and said,
“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;
That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:14-21).
Lesson on Biblical Blessings as They apply to Present Day Christians
Anyone who has declared Jesus Christ as Lord, and has accepted him into his (or her) life is a confirmed child of God.
Such a person has an entitlement to enjoy God’s benefits – without any reservation.
The bible – which is the word of God – has a bundle of God’s benefits for believers.
Every child of God should claim God’s blessings and make the best of them.
God is able to perform miracles beyond any human imagination if we can trust him.
The promises of God in the bible are ever active, and no child of God should assume they are obsolete.
God of olden days is still the same today. Christians serve him and are worthy of his benefits.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever!” (Hebrew 13:8)
The same God who helped his people in the past is still alive to help us today.
He will perform similar bible miracles in our lives, and much more!
Claim Your Bible Blessings Now!
- Christians should not read the bible like literature.
- We must not assume bible benefits apply to ancient people only.
- Bible blessings are still relevant today. They apply to today’s Christians.
For example, the statements such as “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want” did not only apply to King David.
The same statement applies to all living Christians throughout the world.
King David is dead, but “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want…” still applies to all living Christians!
Both the writer of this article and the readers have equal right to claim the benefits of the bible.
“The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want” applies to us all!
Each Christian should confidently profess that he (or she) serves the same God of bible patriarchs.
Today’s believers have equal entitlement with bible patriarchs like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!
That is, every child of God must be possessive of bible blessings and personalize them for their benefit.
Each Christian must declare:
- God of Abraham is my God
- God of Isaac and Jacob is my God
- I am God’s apple eye specially created to prosper on earth
Pray and proclaim Bible benefits to your life
Dear God, you are such a God of blessing, and I love you so much!
I understand that bible blessings apply to me, and I am determined to lay claim on each of them.
Today I declare that God’s promises of the bible apply to me.
I am a child of God; therefore I declare that I am blessed in the morning; I am blessed in the evening, and I am blessed in the night.
“I am blessed in the city, and blessed in the country.” (Deuteronomy 28:3 NIV)
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” (Psalm 23:6 NIV).
Since “The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want,” I am blessed beyond curses. Grace and favor of the Lord shall follow with me every day of my life.
“The joy of the Lord shall be my strength” from now on, and forevermore!
For in the name of Jesus Christ I have made my proclamations and lay hold on my blessings. Amen!
