Christians are required to have dignity and walk uprightly in a manner that glorifies God always.
Believers must ensure that our activities honor God at all times!
The scripture emphasized,
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).
Christians Must Understand that Dignity Matters to God
Believers must understand the importance of dignity, and how it matters to God.
We must not misunderstand the concept of liberty that Christianity offers.
That is, we must live in holiness before God.
The true concept of Christianity is the salvation of grace offered by Jesus Christ.
We must enjoy the grace without compulsion.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8 KJV).
Truly, the Christian religion is not burdensome since it does not impose a strict rule on anyone.
However, It is important that Christians understand the liberty of worship that the religion offers – Which must not be abused.
Christians must honestly celebrate our salvation of grace that Christ offers, but not abuse it.
We must not assume that all things are acceptable to God by practicing the religion of Christianity anyhow.
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive” (1 Corinthians 10:23).
Christianity requires firmness; every Christian is expected to live a bible-principled lifestyle.
Take Caution with Your Christian Faith
Believers must understand that the liberty of faith that we have received through Jesus Christ does not allow us to act against God’s commandments.
Religion requires that we comply with the laws of God!
Whatever anyone calls liberty of the spirit, as Christianity offers, must be weighed with the standard of the bible.
Such belief or exercise must comply with the bible standard.
Christians must not celebrate any notion, practice, belief, or an exercise that is discredited in the bible.
A heavenly bound Christian must not engage in practices that the bible opposed.
Our society may accept them but we must not entertain them.
For example, a Christian must understand that homosexuality is unacceptable to God according to the Bible
“For this cause, God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another;
men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient” (Romans 1:26-28 KJV).
In addition, immoral activities such as fornication and adultery compromise God’s standard of holiness, and Christian must not engage in them.
