The Pharisees and Sadducee surrounded Jesus Christ-like bees seeking every opportunity to bite their host.
The religious enemies set traps and tested Jesus on many grounds with the hope that he might stumble in his speech so that they can arrest and kill Him.
Meanwhile, Jesus was sensitive to recognize the presence of his enemies, and He put them in the right place! When the Pharisees asked a tricky question about the resurrection, Jesus referred them to scripture that everyone in the society respected – and the foes became silent (Luke 20:27-39).
However, Jesus warned his disciples to be watchful of hypocrites who would be envious of their success and seek their downfall. Jesus said,
“Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts, who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers.
“For this cause, God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another;
men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient” (Romans 1:26-28 KJV).
In addition, immoral activities such as fornication and adultery compromise God’s standard of holiness, and Christian must not engage in them.
Understand Christianity in a Simple Language
A Christian must not entertain whatever practices contradict bible standards.
Ungodly practices are sinful and punishable by God.
Believers must reject any practice that God has rejected!
Holiness has no substitute with God

The term Daughters of Zion was used in multiple places in the bible; it symbolizes the beauty and pride of Israel.
The term is used whenever God wanted to honor his children.
However due to the sin of Israelites, God downplayed the importance of “Daughters of Zion.”
He turned it to an entity that was worthy of his severe punishment.
One of the negative connotation attached to Daughter of Zion is as stated,
“Moreover the Lord says: “Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, And walk with outstretched necks And wanton eyes, Walking and mincing asthey go, Making a jingling with their feet, Therefore the Lord will strike with a scab The crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, And the Lord will uncover their secret parts” (Isaiah 3:16-17).
Lesson on Daughters of Zion
Christians are Daughters of Zion; we the Lord’s apple eyes, and we must make God proud in our lives.
The Creator will go any extent to defend his interest in our lives if we can make him proud.
